 Dear ALL

I read so much about the technological responses to the crisis that beset us, which are so good within the constraints that we place upon ourselves by the very economic model most of the world is following.

This stops us all looking at the situation from a truly holistic standpoint. As we know the plants ecosystems are finely balanced and when that balance is disturbed to  an unrecoverable amount, the tipping point is reached with catastrophic consequences.

The monetary system globally is responsible for causing this imbalance by all the arguments that you and others point out so often, but rather than addressing the fundamental problem of MONEY, everyone seem content on tweaking the technology with little or no understanding of where the resources come from and the consequences on Nature by utilising these new and existing resources.

Let's put this bluntly.

We are in an ECONOMIC overspend, causing global meltdowns everywhere.

From fossil fuels still being bought at rock bottom prices showing no concerns for the damage they cause, The alternatives are beginning to be shown as no better as they are just replacing new for old , as you suggest.

naturea nd all ecosystems are collapsing at extraordinary rates and speed , despite many individual efforts to help etc etc.

Money is the problem and the solution.

Money is the problem as it is used to buy and consume at will all the global resources with no regard to the eco damage caused..

Money is the solution if only we can directly link it to nature and that eco damage it causes.

Money has caused more damage since it was made free from the gold standard and unleashing the cryptocurrencies along with helicopter and QE money has given a cash explosion to spend like never before and now with the Covid pandemic has given even more impetus for an

never ending of free money with not a thought of the environmental consequences of such spending.

Money must be controlled by the eco damage is causes!

I believe in the short but essential changes below which no one has really researched or explored, as the people in power are worried it will upset the status quo.

Money must be linked directly to Natures assets in a similar way to the gold standard.

Scrap all existing taxes and replace them with a single Natural Resource Tax collected at source and based on the Eco Damage caused by their use and consumption plus UBI and a wealth tax.

Fundamental economic policy changes must be assessed and enforced quickly globally to protect Nature and all ecosystems.

Many others better than me can do the modeling and sums, but without this change we are continuing business as usual with just changing new for old and with the continuing destruction.

Thank you for reading this and hope action will happen!
