TIME ...TIME...TIME...TIME

Haiti has not got time . Time is not what the rest of the world has got, as a farmer timing is everything otherwise the work load is so much increased and also the yield is so low from the soil which has not been treated correctly , Medics also reconise that timing is everything in terms of saving life.

Saving a nations spirit needs the timing on a huge scale synchronized to fit in with the humanitarian demand of the state. It has to be completed with compassion and understanding, trust and dignity.

Sound bites of "it takes time" is not good enough especially when the military are involved there has to be a lot of self initiative on the part of the helpers involved and driving around pontificating and talking will only delay the first response to the crisis and result in the bewildered homeless people taking decisions that will lead to a crisis later.

Timeley actions must be implimented and as all the agencies have been briefed for several years now , there really should be little excuse on the deliverance of critical supplies from day one.
Logistics is all about timing, deliviery on time in the right place with the right goods.
Time is what we have not got.

Time is 24/7 /365.

But we have only seconds to make this work with a good outcome.

Decisions...Decisions...Time...Decisions...Delay...Seconds to Disaster...Outcome..........

Action...Action....What....Where...Here....There...Action...Wrong Place....Outcome.......

Saved lives...Corpses...Joy...Sadness...Reunion...Goodbye...................

Babies...New Houses... Marriage...Emigration...Flowers...Rubble..............

Time for The Future.......................................................................................................................

Together..

Parted.
